World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a cryptocurrency firm with ties to the TRUMP family, has forged a strategic alliance with Spacecoin to explore the convergence of decentralized finance (DeFi) and satellite-powered internet. The partnership aims to extend financial services to unbanked populations in remote regions, leveraging Spacecoin's decentralized physical infrastructure network of three satellites.

WLFI's USD1 stablecoin, now boasting a $3.2 billion market capitalization, will serve as a settlement LAYER for transactions in areas lacking traditional banking access. The collaboration includes a token swap between the two entities, though specifics remain undisclosed. "USD1 is intended to support payment and settlement activity in the real world," stated Zak Folkman, WLFI co-founder.

The initiative represents a novel intersection of blockchain technology and space-based connectivity solutions. By combining Spacecoin's global internet infrastructure with WLFI's financial tools, the partners seek to create an alternative economic framework for underserved markets.
